Launched in 1939, Transparence by Houbigant is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance that embodies the elegance and refinement of its French heritage. The composition opens with aldehydes, creating an immediate sense of clarity and freshness before transitioning to a heart filled with rose and jasmine. This floral bouquet then settles into a warm base of vanilla, amber, and musk, providing a balanced and sophisticated finish.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture Transparence's balanced structure. The aldehydic top note is bright but fleeting, so it’s best applied just before heading out for the day. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a room, making it perfect for daytime wear.
