L'Eau d'Issey Shade of Sunrise, launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, is a floral fragrance that embodies the vibrant energy of dawn in a tropical landscape. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot and lemon, which are quickly enveloped by the lush florals of frangipani and jasmine. This contrast creates an effervescent tension between freshness and warmth, with the creamy sweetness of coconut milk adding depth. The woody base of sandalwood and cedar provides a grounding finish that balances the radiant top notes.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow its radiant top notes to shine while letting the creamy florals and woody base develop gradually. It's best suited for daytime wear when its bright and uplifting character can enhance your mood throughout the day.
