L'Eau d'Issey Summer Eau de Toilette by Issey Miyake was launched in 2010 and is a creation of the renowned perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. This fragrance opens with a bright, fresh pear note that immediately evokes a sense of clarity and lightness. The heart of the composition features floral notes like carnation and peony, which add warmth and depth without becoming overpowering. Tincture of rose serves as a subtle but unmistakable presence, grounding the scent in an elegant floral accord. Beneath it all, woody undertones provide a gentle earthiness that keeps everything balanced.
One to two sprays are sufficient for this fragrance. The fresh top notes can fade quickly within an hour, but the warm floral heart and woody base will last throughout the day. This is better suited for daytime wear as it reads light and airy.
