Launched in 2003 by Jo Malone London, Black Vetyver Cafe is a Woody Spicy fragrance that seamlessly blends the rich warmth of coffee with earthy vetiver and smoky incense. The composition opens with a bright burst of citruses and spices like nutmeg and coriander before settling into a base of sandalwood, vanilla, and sequoia that reads as a sophisticated blend of woodsmoke and musk. Jo Malone's signature restraint ensures that each element is distinct yet harmonious.
Apply two sprays to ensure that the initial burst of citruses and spices transitions smoothly into the deeper base notes. The smoky incense and vanilla emerge after about an hour, so give it time to develop on your skin before stepping out.
