Launched in 2021 by L'Artisan Parfumeur, Obscuratio 25 is a chypre floral fragrance crafted by perfumer Daphné Bugey. The composition reveals ylang-ylang as a night vision, capturing its sweet, slightly spicy, and fruity nuances through distillation of petals grown in the Comoros and Madagascar. A base of patchouli adds earthy warmth to the mix, while bourbon vanilla provides an enveloping sweetness that contrasts beautifully with the fresh floral notes.
For best effect, apply two sprays to pulse points. The ylang-ylang will bloom initially but give way to a warmer base of vanilla and patchouli over time. This fragrance is ideal for the evening when its warm, enveloping notes truly shine.
