Launched in 2009 by Lacoste Fragrances, Lacoste Essential Sport was crafted by perfumer Gilles Romey to embody the spirit of modern athleticism and effortless style. The composition opens with a vibrant citrus-aromatic accord featuring grapefruit and bergamot, which is immediately countered by fresh spices like ginger and nutmeg. This dynamic interplay gives way to aquatic notes that evoke a sense of coolness and freshness, while a woody base of vetiver and patchouli grounds the fragrance, ensuring it remains balanced and engaging throughout the day.
