Patchouli 24 by Le Labo was launched in 2006 and crafted by perfumer Annick Ménardo. This Woody Chypre fragrance opens with patchouli, leading to a heart of birch and styrax, before settling into a base note of vanilla. The composition is a study in contrast — the earthy richness of patchouli pairs with the warmth of leather and smoky undertones, while a sweet amber and vanilla provide a comforting counterpoint. This fragrance captures the essence of old-world refinement with modern sensibility.
Patchouli 24 builds slowly on the skin, so a single spray is sufficient. Allow it to develop over the first hour before reapplying if needed. This scent is best for cooler evenings when its warm and smoky notes can fully unfold.
