Bête Humaine by Les Liquides Imaginaires was launched in 2021, crafted by perfumer Amélie Bourgeois. This Woody Aromatic fragrance is a blend of chestnut and cumin, creating an earthy warmth that contrasts with the ozonic freshness of papyrus and pine tree notes. The base layers of sandalwood, labdanum, and Haitian vetiver add depth and richness, grounding the composition in a sense of natural complexity. Bête Humaine is neither overly sweet nor overpowering; it's a scent that feels both close to nature and refined.
Two sprays are sufficient to capture the full essence of Bête Humaine. The ozonic top notes dissipate quickly, so apply right before you leave — this allows the earthy and woody base to unfold gradually throughout the day.
