The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by M. Micallef, Vanille Cuir is a Leather fragrance created by Jean-Claude Astier. The composition opens with an aromatic blend of lavender, bergamot, and mint, leading to a heart of cinnamon and orange blossom that adds a warm, spicy contrast. It settles into a base of suede, vanilla, tonka bean, cedar, and sandalwood, creating a rich blend of powdery warmth and subtle leather notes.
Apply Vanille Cuir in light layers; it blooms gradually over time. The aromatic top notes fade within an hour, but the rich base of suede and vanilla continues to develop throughout the day, making it ideal for evening or cooler weather.
