Vanille Patchouli by M. Micallef is a composition that balances the warmth of vanilla with the earthy richness of patchouli, creating an oriental woody fragrance that is both familiar and intriguing. Perfumer Geoffrey Nejman crafts this scent around the contrast between sweet and spicy notes: mandarin orange and pink pepper introduce a fresh, zesty opening, which transitions into praline and Madagascar vanilla for a comforting heart. The base of patchouli, sandalwood, and musk grounds the composition with earthy depth.
For best effect, apply Vanille Patchouli to pulse points; it blooms fully within an hour as the patchouli base comes through. The praline and vanilla notes are particularly noticeable close to skin, so a lighter application can enhance these elements without overpowering.
