Launched in 2015 by Mancera, Aoud Blue Notes is a composition that balances the bright freshness of citrus and fruity notes with the warmth of woody and powdery accords. Perfumer Pierre Montale crafts an aromatic journey where lemon and bergamot provide a crisp opening before giving way to the floral elegance of violet and orris root. The base layers of leather, amber, and sandalwood add depth and complexity, creating a fragrance that feels both modern and lasting.
One to two sprays is enough — the citrus top notes are bright but fade within a couple of hours, making way for the deeper woody and powdery base. It reads better in cooler settings where its depth can fully unfold.
