Aoud S by Mancera was launched in 2011 and is crafted by Pierre Montale, known for his ability to blend complex accords into cohesive compositions. This fragrance opens with a sharp contrast between the bright citrus of bergamot and ylang-ylang and the warm spices of clove and cinnamon. At its heart, it features a rich combination of yellow floral notes, rose, jasmine, and violet, which add layers of depth and complexity. The base is dominated by oud and leather, creating an earthy warmth that is both animalic and powdery, anchored by musky undertones.
Apply Aoud S directly to pulse points for maximum warmth and longevity. The spicy top notes dissipate quickly, so the focus should be on allowing the rich base notes to develop over time. It pairs well with cool evenings but can also add depth to daytime wear.
