The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 and crafted by Pierre Montale, So Blue by Mancera is a complex composition that balances the freshness of citrus with the warmth of powdery florals. The fragrance opens with mandarin orange, lemon, and bergamot, creating an immediate sense of brightness and energy. As these top notes fade, Bulgarian rose and violet introduce a soft floral heart, which then transitions into a base of musk, amber, vanilla, sandalwood, oakmoss, and patchouli that adds depth and warmth. This interplay between the bright citrus fruits and the enveloping powdery florals creates an atmosphere that is both invigorating and comforting.
Apply this fragrance in a warm spot on your skin for maximum effect — it blooms over time and benefits from body heat. One or two sprays are enough; the bright citrus notes fade quickly, but the musky base lasts well into the evening.
