The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Ormonde Jayne and crafted by Geza Schoen, Tsarina is a powdery woody fragrance that weaves together citrus freshness with warm musk and soft florals. The composition opens with the bright zest of bergamot and mandarin orange, balanced by the subtle spiciness of coriander and cassis. As it settles into its heart, freesia and jasmine sambac provide a delicate floral touch, while iris adds an undercurrent of sophistication. The base notes of sandalwood, cedar, and labdanum create a warm, enveloping musk that feels both luxurious and intimate.
Apply Tsarina to pulse points for the best longevity. The bright citrus notes fade within an hour, but the base of musky woods will last well into the night. It's perfect for an evening out or a cozy indoor moment.
