The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Rabanne and crafted by perfumers Quentin Bisch and Christophe Raynaud, Million Gold Elixir is a unisex Oriental Vanilla fragrance that balances bright freshness with warm depth. The top note of Yellow Mandarin introduces a burst of citrus brightness before giving way to the woody richness of Sandalwood in the heart. This leads seamlessly into the base note of Vanilla, which adds a layer of sweetness and warmth, creating an enveloping yet sophisticated scent.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points — it's the base note of Vanilla that really lingers. The fragrance builds gradually on skin, so waiting a few minutes before heading out can enhance its warmth without overpowering.

Christophe Raynaud
Architect first, craftsman secondChristophe Raynaud is a perfumer who describes himself as a craftsman with the sensitivity of an artist. He begins each fragrance with a raw olfactory block, working for hours to shape it as a sculptor would — first as architect, then as craftsman.
“At first, I am the architect, and then I become the craftsman.”
