The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2007 by Ralph Lauren and crafted by perfumers Harry Frémont and Honorine Blanc, Polo Explorer is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of adventure. The composition opens with mandarin orange and bergamot, bringing a bright citrus freshness that cuts through the air like a crisp morning breeze. As it settles, leather and coriander add an unexpected warmth, while sandalwood and mahogany create a rich, woody backdrop. The amber base lends a subtle sweetness, balancing the composition with its powdery and slightly animalic undertones.
Polo Explorer's citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so apply two sprays to ensure that the rich woody base has time to develop. This fragrance is best worn during cooler weather when its warmth feels most inviting.
