The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019 by Ralph Lauren and crafted by perfumer Olivier Guillotin, Polo Red Remix is a Woody Spicy fragrance that blends warm spices with aromatic notes to create an intricate olfactory experience. The composition opens with mandarin orange and cranberry before cardamom and clary sage introduce a spicy, aromatic heart. At its core, saffron and geranium add depth, while coffee and amberwood bring warmth and richness. Patchouli and tonka bean ground the fragrance in a woody, sensual base.
One or two sprays are sufficient — the aromatic and spicy top notes fade within a couple of hours, but the woody base continues to evolve on the skin throughout the day. This fragrance reads best in cooler weather when its warmth is most appreciated.
