Launched in 2020 by Ralph Lauren and crafted by perfumer Olivier Guillotin, Polo Red Eau de Parfum is a Woody Spicy fragrance that balances vibrant freshness with warm depth. The composition opens with cranberry and ginger, which bring an invigorating zing to the top notes. This freshness transitions into a heart of clary sage, lavender, and pink grapefruit, creating a harmonious blend that feels both uplifting and grounded. The base notes of labdanum, opoponax, benzoin, cedar, musk, and guaiac wood provide an earthy warmth that ties the fragrance together in a sophisticated way.
Apply one to two sprays — the cranberry and ginger top notes are bright but fleeting. The musky base develops over time, so it’s best applied in the morning to fully experience its depth throughout the day.
