Launched in 2018 by Ralph Lauren and crafted by perfumer Carlos Benaïm, Polo Ultra Blue is a modern take on the brand's signature freshness. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes of citron and lemon verbena, which blend seamlessly into mineral and salty accords that evoke a brisk coastal breeze. This fresh aromatic composition then transitions to a warm, woody base interwoven with musky undertones, creating an intriguing contrast between its crisp top and its deeper, more enveloping heart.
Polo Ultra Blue has a strong initial burst but settles into its deeper notes over time. A light spritz in the morning will ensure that you experience both the crisp top notes and the warm, woody base as the day progresses.
