The story behind the bottle.
Baghari by Robert Piguet was launched in 1950 and is a composition that embodies the elegance of its era. Created by Francis Fabron, this fragrance opens with aldehydes and citrus notes, creating an immediate freshness that feels both lasting and modern. The heart of Baghari features orange blossom, rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, all blending together to form a lush white floral bouquet. This is then anchored by woody and amber base notes, providing warmth and depth. Baghari was one of the early fragrances to blend aldehydic freshness with rich florals, setting a standard for elegance in women's perfumery.
One spray on each wrist is enough to capture Baghari’s balance of freshness and warmth. The aldehydic top notes fade quickly, so applying it just before you step out allows the floral heart and woody base to emerge gradually throughout the day.
