The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Roja Dove, Risque is a Chypre Floral fragrance that balances bright citrus and aromatic notes with rich, earthy undertones. The composition opens with bergamot and lemon, providing an invigorating freshness that gives way to floral heart notes like hyacinth, rose, and jasmine. At its core, the fragrance features oakmoss, civet, patchouli, vetiver, labdanum, and cedar, creating a lush, mossy base that is both warm and complex.
Apply Risque with two light sprays. The citrus opening is bright but fades within an hour, allowing the deeper florals and earthy notes to emerge. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than in a wide sillage, so it's perfect for intimate settings.

The Professeur de ParfumRoja Dove, born Roger Bird in 1956 in Sussex, was captivated by scent from childhood, later abandoning a medicine degree at Cambridge after a visit to the Guerlain boutique in Paris changed the course of his life.
