Launched in 1998 by Serge Lutens, Rahat Loukoum is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance for both women and men, crafted by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake. The composition opens with a bright almond note, which gives way to the sweet warmth of vanilla and nutty undertones. A delicate balance of cherry and fruity accents adds a touch of freshness before settling into a powdery floral base that reads as comforting and familiar.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points — the almond opening is bright but fades within an hour. The powdery base notes last longer and develop closer to skin, making this fragrance best suited for close encounters rather than filling a room.
