Launched in 2012 by Serge Lutens and crafted by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake, Santal Majuscule is an Oriental Woody fragrance that marries the warmth of spices with the depth of wood. The composition opens with a bright burst of rose and citrus, which quickly gives way to a rich heart of cacao and floral notes, creating an unexpected contrast between sweetness and earthiness. The base layers in powdery woods, providing a grounding finish that is both comforting and sophisticated.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced diffusion. The fragrance's powdery base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so it’s best worn with time to settle into your skin rather than rushed application.
