Launched in 2019 by Tom Ford, Sole Di Positano Acqua is a unisex fragrance that captures the essence of an Italian coastal retreat. The composition opens with mandarin orange and lemon leaf, providing a bright citrus-green freshness that evokes the sun-drenched landscape of Positano. As it evolves, the heart notes of orange blossom, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley add a delicate floral sweetness, while petitgrain and shiso introduce an aromatic complexity. The base of moss, musk, and sandalwood rounds out this scent with warm, woody undertones that bring depth and longevity.
Apply this fragrance liberally for a lasting effect; the citrus top notes are bright and fresh but fade within an hour. The woody base notes take over after that, so it’s best to let the scent build gradually throughout the day.
