Melon is the strange choice here — most citrus-floral eau de toilettes skip it entirely, but Nathalie Lorson uses it to soften the yuzu and citron opening into something juicier and less astringent than a straight citrus blast. Jasmine tea carries the heart with a brewed, slightly bitter edge rather than a sweet one, and orange blossom keeps it from turning too green. Lotus adds a thin, watery quality that never lets the composition sit still. Vanilla and cedar close things out quietly, present but restrained enough that the fragrance never loses its citrus-floral footing.
