The story behind the bottle.
Notte d'Oro by Valentino, launched in 2024, is an Oriental Woody fragrance created by the renowned perfumer Paul Guerlain. This composition opens with a burst of black cherry and citrus notes, creating a fresh yet spicy contrast that immediately captures attention. As it settles, rose oil and Indian jasmine weave through a heart of geranium, adding depth and warmth. The base notes of oud, patchouli, and sandalwood create a rich blend of woodsy aromas that anchor the fragrance with a luxurious, almost regal quality.
One or two sprays is sufficient to capture the full essence of Notte d'Oro. The black cherry and citrus notes are bright but fleeting, so it’s best applied close to skin for a more intimate experience. This fragrance leans warm, making it ideal for evenings rather than daytime wear.
