Birmane by Van Cleef & Arpels was launched in 1999, crafted by perfumer Richard Herpin. This Oriental Woody fragrance opens with the bright freshness of pineapple and bergamot, creating a vibrant contrast against the warm and enveloping heart notes of heliotrope, orchid, rose, and tonka bean. The base layers of sandalwood, vanilla, and musk provide a rich and comforting finish that ties the composition together with a sense of lasting elegance. Birmane is a interplay of sweet and powdery accords that evoke a blend of luxury and warmth.
Apply Birmane to pulse points for a subtle yet lasting effect. The top notes are bright but fade quickly into the heart and base accords, which need time to develop fully on the skin. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear as its warmth complements the softer light of morning and afternoon.
