Feerie Rose des Neiges by Van Cleef & Arpels was launched in 2011 and captures the essence of a fleeting winter wonderland. Perfumer Antoine Maisondieu crafted this composition around litchi and pink pepper, which create an initial burst of freshness before giving way to the heart of rose and magnolia. The base notes of tonka bean, Virginia cedar, and sandalwood add warmth and depth, transforming the scent into a harmonious blend that feels both delicate and enduring.
One spray to each wrist and neck is enough — this fragrance blooms gradually on the skin over time. The litchi and pink pepper top notes are bright but transient, so layering it lightly allows the more nuanced base notes to shine through.
