The story behind the bottle.
First Eau de Parfum Intense by Van Cleef & Arpels was launched in 2012 as a sophisticated floral composition that balances the brightness of citrus with the softness of powdery notes. The opening notes of grapefruit, mandarin orange, and bergamot create an initial freshness that soon gives way to the heart of jasmine, iris, mimosa, and frangipani. These florals are enveloped by a warm base of vanilla and praline, resulting in a scent that is both delicate and comforting.
Apply this fragrance lightly at first, as it builds beautifully on the skin over time. The citrus notes are bright but short-lived, while the powdery and sweet base notes last throughout the day, making it perfect for both daytime and evening wear.
