The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Van Cleef & Arpels, First Edition Or was crafted by perfumer Natalie Gracia-Cetto to blend the freshness of citrus with the sweetness of fruity and floral notes. The composition opens with a bright burst of bergamot and raspberry before transitioning into a heart of jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, and rose. These floral accords are enveloped in a warm base of white musk, vanilla, and woods, creating a harmonious blend that is both uplifting and comforting.
Two sprays on each wrist allows the citrus opening to shine while the floral heart and musky base slowly unfold. This fragrance is best worn during cooler weather when its warm base notes are most noticeable.
