Launched in 2016 by Van Cleef & Arpels, In New York is a modern interpretation of the aromatic fougère genre. Perfumer Sonia Constant crafted this scent around an intriguing contrast: the sharp citrus freshness of Italian lemon and mandarin orange balances seamlessly with marine notes that evoke the city's vibrant energy. The heart of lavender and clary sage adds a touch of herbal depth, while woody undertones and musk create a warm, grounding base. This composition captures the essence of New York — dynamic, fresh, and unmistakably urban.
Apply this fragrance in light sprays — the citrus top notes are bright but fleeting.
