The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019 by Jordi Fernández, Vanille Rouge is part of Versace's Atelier Versace collection, which features six fragrances each centered around a distinct ingredient. This particular scent marries Madagascar vanilla with powdery musk accords, almonds, and rose to create a rich and nuanced profile. The composition opens with sweet almond notes that blend seamlessly into the warm heart of rose and vanilla, grounded by a base of musky and powdery undertones. The result is a fragrance that feels both classic and modern, capturing the elegance for which Versace is known.
Vanille Rouge is best applied in moderation; its richness means that one or two sprays are sufficient to create a lasting impression. The scent develops slowly on the skin, so allow it time to settle before heading out.
