The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Vilhelm Parfumerie and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, A Lilac a Day is a floral fragrance that captures the delicate essence of lilacs. The composition opens with fresh notes of freesia and galbanum, creating an invigorating green freshness before settling into a heart of Egyptian jasmine and Turkish rose oil. This floral bouquet is then anchored by the warmth of black amber, adding depth and sensuality to the overall scent.
A Lilac a Day has a moderate longevity, so applying two sprays will ensure that its subtle notes last throughout the day. The scent reads best close to skin rather than projecting strongly into the room, making it ideal for daytime wear.
