Launched in 2020 by Yves Saint Laurent and crafted by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou, Capeline is a captivating Oriental Floral fragrance that seamlessly blends white floral and citrus notes with marine and woody undertones. The composition opens with the vibrant freshness of bergamot and mandarin orange, which gradually gives way to the delicate charm of lily and ylang-ylang. Sea water adds an unexpected marine touch, while vanilla absolute and white musk create a warm, comforting base that anchors the scent. Capeline is neither overtly sweet nor overpowering; instead, it offers a harmonious balance between freshness and warmth.
Capeline has a balanced longevity and sillage. Apply two sprays to the pulse points for a steady presence throughout the day. The marine notes are most noticeable in the first hour; after that, the warm base notes take over, making it ideal for daytime wear.
