The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2006, Opium Fleur Imperiale by Yves Saint Laurent is an Oriental Floral fragrance that encapsulates the brand's heritage of elegance and sophistication. The composition opens with zesty notes of bergamot and mandarin orange, followed by a heart of carnation, apricot blossom, jasmine, and osmanthus. These florals are warm and inviting, like stepping into a sunlit garden at its peak bloom. The base notes of myrrh, amber, vanilla, and patchouli provide a rich, woody warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced experience. The florals are vibrant but fade within a couple of hours, allowing the rich amber and vanilla base to take center stage later in the day.
