Launched in 2003 by Yves Saint Laurent, Rive Gauche Intense is a Floral Green fragrance that captures the essence of Parisian elegance and sophistication. The composition opens with aldehydes and green notes, creating an initial freshness that contrasts beautifully with the warm, citrusy heart of bergamot and Amalfi lemon. This bright opening gives way to a lush floral bouquet of ylang-ylang, rose, gardenia, and honeysuckle before settling into a rich base of oak moss, vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli, myrrh, and amber. The result is a fragrance that feels both modern and lasting — a perfect blend of crisp green freshness and enveloping warmth.
