The story behind the bottle.
Colonia Assoluta Edizione Speciale 2013 by Acqua di Parma was launched in 2013 and is a collaboration between perfumers Bertrand Duchaufour and Jean-Claude Ellena. This fragrance embodies the essence of Italian elegance with its bright citrus opening, which gives way to warm spices and earthy woods. The blend of sweet orange, bergamot, and lemon verbena creates an initial burst of freshness, while notes like cardamom, vetiver, and cedar add depth and a lingering warmth that feels both lasting and contemporary.
Given its very weak longevity but strong sillage, this fragrance is best applied frequently throughout the day. Two sprays in the morning and again after lunch will ensure that you maintain its bright and warm presence. It's particularly well-suited for daytime wear where its initial freshness can shine.
