Cristal Gold Man by Amouage is a Woody Chypre fragrance for men that launched in 2023. Perfumer Alexandra Carlin crafted this scent with a blend of aldehydic freshness and rich, animalic notes. The composition opens with bright citrus and green accords like bergamot and petitgrain, which quickly give way to the honeyed warmth of frankincense and jasmine. A heart of neroli and heliotrope adds floral sweetness, while the base layers in powdery woods, ambergris, and civet for a deep, complex finish.
This fragrance has a strong opening that fades within two hours, so layering it with a light mist over your usual cologne can enhance its longevity. The base notes take about an hour to bloom fully, making it perfect for evening wear when you want a rich, enveloping scent.
