The story behind the bottle.
Lao Oud Elixir, launched by Bortnikoff in 2025 and crafted by Dmitry Bortnikoff, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that exemplifies the brand's commitment to rare and distinctive materials. The composition opens with pink pepper and magnolia before diving into a rich accord of cacao, chamomile, and beeswax. As it settles, warm spicy notes of cinnamon and birch tar blend seamlessly with oud and coffee, creating an enveloping warmth that is both comforting and complex. Leather and vanilla absolute add depth to the base, rounding out this intricate elixir.
Lao Oud Elixir is best applied in moderation — one or two sprays to the pulse points are enough. The cacao and beeswax notes are particularly noticeable in the first hour but give way to a deeper, more complex base that lasts throughout the day.
