Oud Maximus Elixir by Bortnikoff is a bold and complex Oriental Woody fragrance launched in 2025, crafted by Dmitry Bortnikoff. The composition opens with the bright, zesty notes of cardamom, sweet orange, and pink pepper, creating an immediate sense of freshness and energy. At its heart, the fragrance blends rich jasmine sambac, rose de mai, and magnolia, adding a layer of floral warmth that contrasts beautifully against the spicy top notes. The base is dominated by oud, birch tar, vanilla, civet, and natural musk, grounding the composition with an animalic depth and lasting warmth.
Apply one generous spray to allow the spicy top notes to give way to the warm heart and base. The fragrance develops slowly over time, so it's best used in a setting where you can enjoy its full evolution — from fresh and vibrant to richly complex.
