The story behind the bottle.
Oud Maximus 2020 by Bortnikoff is a bold and complex fragrance that seamlessly blends the rich, smoky essence of oud with bright citrus notes and warm spices. Launched in 2020, this unisex eau de parfum opens with sweet orange and bergamot, providing a fresh burst that contrasts beautifully with the deeper, more earthy tones of cardamom and pink pepper. The heart of jasmine sambac and rose adds floral warmth, while the base notes of agarwood (oud), musk, and civet create an enveloping embrace that lingers throughout the day.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, start with one spray to the pulse points. The fragrance blooms over time, so allowing it to settle on your skin is key. It's particularly effective in cooler weather when the warmth of the base notes feels most comforting.
