Launched in 2021 by Burberry, Hero is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard. The composition opens with bright bergamot, which gives way to the freshness of juniper and the warmth of black pepper in its heart. The base notes are anchored by various cedars, including Atlas Cedar, Virginian Cedar, and Himalayan Cedar, creating a rich, woody foundation that is both earthy and modern.
Hero's bergamot top note is bright but fades quickly, so aim for two sprays to ensure the woody base notes are prominent. It's best worn in cooler weather when its warm spice and earthy tones come alive.
