Launched in 2017 by Bvlgari and crafted by perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Aqva Pour Homme Atlantiqve is a Woody Aquatic fragrance that captures the essence of the Atlantic's vast expanse. The composition opens with Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian lemon, creating an immediate freshness that evokes sea breezes and coastal clarity. Sage adds a subtle herbal note, while water and sea notes transport you to the ocean's edge. Ambergris and benzoin bring warmth and depth, grounding the aquatic top with rich woody undertones of vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood, and amberwood.
This fragrance is designed to stay close to skin, so a heavier application on pulse points will ensure it lingers throughout the day. The citrus opening fades within an hour, but the woody base notes continue to develop for hours afterward.
