The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2021 by Byredo, Mumbai Noise is a Woody Spicy fragrance created by perfumer Jérôme Epinette. The composition opens with the green and aromatic note of Davana, giving way to middle notes of coffee and tonka bean that add warmth and depth. At its heart, oud and sandalwood blend seamlessly into a balsamic base of labdanum, creating an atmosphere that captures the sensory richness of Mumbai's bustling streets.

Byredo, founded by Ben Gorham in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2006, is known for translating memories and emotions into fragrances. Mumbai Noise embodies this ethos, transporting wearers to the vibrant city where spices mingle with aromatic woods and warm coffee scents.

How to wear it

Start with one spray — the aromatic Davana opens brightly but quickly gives way to the warm base notes. This fragrance is best for evening wear as it develops its full depth over time.
