Super Cedar by Byredo was launched in 2016 as a Woody Floral Musk fragrance that captures the essence of the Swedish landscape and the brand's commitment to translating memories into scents. The composition opens with rose, creating an immediate contrast between floral sweetness and woodsy depth. Virginian cedar forms the heart of the fragrance, providing a robust earthiness that is complemented by Haitian vetiver in the base notes, along with musk for warmth and powdery comfort. This blend evokes the raw, natural beauty of Sweden's forests and the subtle sophistication of Byredo’s signature style.
Super Cedar has a strong base of vetiver and musk that takes time to bloom. A light spritz on the pulse points allows these notes to develop gradually throughout the day, making it ideal for daytime wear. Avoid over-application as the rose top note fades quickly, and the real depth comes from the cedar and musk.
