Escape for Men by Calvin Klein was launched in 1993 and is a fragrance that embodies the brand's signature blend of minimalism and classic style. Created by perfumer Steve DeMercado, it opens with a bright citrus-aromatic accord featuring melon, eucalyptus, mango, grapefruit, and bergamot. The heart introduces fir, birch, cypress, rosemary, and sage for an earthy freshness, while the base notes of oakmoss, vetiver, sandalwood, amber, and patchouli provide a grounding warmth.
One or two sprays are sufficient as this fragrance has a bright opening that fades into a warm base over time. It's best worn during the day to capture its fresh, aromatic character.
