Comme des Garçons Series 5 Sherbet: Peppermint, launched in 2003 and created by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, is a bold and distinctive fragrance that embodies the brand's avant-garde spirit. The composition opens with a sharp burst of mint, which cuts through an aromatic heart of white pepper and cardamom before settling into a warm base of red berries, rose, musk, and amber. This contrast between the invigorating freshness at the top and the enveloping warmth in the base creates a dynamic and engaging olfactory experience.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points — the mint opening is strong and immediate, but the base notes take time to develop. The scent reads better close to the skin than across a room, so avoid over-application.
