The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2003 and crafted by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, Comme des Garçons Series 5 Sherbet: Rhubarb is a Floral Green fragrance that exemplifies the avant-garde spirit of its Parisian designer, Rei Kawakubo. The composition begins with rhubarb and litchi, creating a vibrant fruity-green opening that transitions into a heart of bergamot and camelia, adding an aromatic freshness. The base notes of orchid, vanilla, and oak tree provide warmth and depth, grounding the fragrance in a powdery-woody embrace.
Apply one to two sprays on your pulse points. The fruity-green opening is prominent at first but allows the powdery-woody base notes to shine through after an hour, making it perfect for daytime wear that evolves as the day progresses.
