The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Comme des Garçons and crafted by Emilie Coppermann, Serpentine is an aromatic green fragrance that captures the essence of modern urbanity. The composition opens with a striking aldehydic-green accord that evokes the crispness of fresh air in a bustling cityscape. This freshness gives way to an asphault-like base note, grounding the scent and adding an earthy undertone that resonates with the brand's avant-garde ethos.
Apply Serpentine with two sprays to your pulse points. The aldehydic top notes will fade within an hour, but the lingering asphalt and aromatic base notes will remain close to your skin throughout the day. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear in cooler weather.
