The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2020 by Giorgio Armani and crafted by perfumer Julie Massé, The Yulong is a delicate balance of fresh and earthy accords. Opening with the bright zest of mandarin orange and petitgrain, it transitions into a heart of green tea and cardamom, creating an aromatic tension that’s both invigorating and soothing. As the composition settles, the base notes of vetiver, ambrette, and iris provide a grounding warmth, merging seamlessly to evoke a sense of serene confidence.
This fragrance is best applied as a light mist, allowing its layers to unfold naturally over time. The aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting, so reapply after two hours if you want to extend their presence. It’s ideal for daytime wear when you need a scent that feels both fresh and grounding.
